'PSG never won Champions League'- F1 champion Nico Rosberg warns Aston Martin about signing Adrian Newey

The 2016 Formula 1 world champion now a commentator at Sky Sports F1 Nico Rosberg has compared Adrian Newey's signing of Aston Martin with the Paris Saint Germain team. This year Aston Martin F1 team came to the headlines after signing renowned F1 car designer Adrian Newey from Red Bull. The team owner Lawrence Stroll has invested heavily in the factory, new wind tunnel, and key sponsorships. The biggest thing Adrian Newey did this year was signing Adrian Newey from Red Bull. 

Adrian Newey is the designer of the Championship winning car of Red Bull with which Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen won 7 championships in total. If Max wins this year it would be his 8th championship-winning car at Red Bull. Adrian Newey alone has 25 F1 titles to his name with his car designs.

Aston Martin will accompany Adrian Newey in March 2025 when he will start working for Aston Martin F1 as the technical partner and Stakeholder. The key focus of Adrian Newey will be the 2026 car as Aston Martin partners with Honda for Power units.

'Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe could win together' - Rosberg

Nico Rosberg gives a warning to Adrian Newey and compares him with the PSG football team. He said, “Look at PSG, in soccer. They had Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe, all three at the same time. Three of the best soccer players of all time, and all the others were very good as well. 

And they never won the Champions League. Because, of course, it's great to bring the greatest geniuses, the best managers on board. However, they still need to then gel, and work together optimally, because you're only as good as the whole team is collaboratively." 

Rosberg feels Adrian Newey can't alone make a car and win the world championship. He needs a team around to work alongside him. New engine regulations are coming in 2026 and they will have a Honda power unit which did wonders for Red Bull by winning them two constructor titles and 3 driver titles for Max Verstappen. We all hope Adrian Newey can do the same magic with his designs and make Aston Martin cars as a championship-winning car.
