Manchester City 3 - Feyenoord 3

Manchester City's dismal play continued at the astonished Etihad Stadium as they lost a 3-0 advantage to draw 3-3 against Feyenoord during the Champions League. With two goals from Erling Haaland and a third from Ilkay Gundogan to put the home team ahead, Pep Guardiola's team appeared to be coasting.

However, the Dutch visitors pulled off a spectacular comeback, leaving their 5,000 Rotterdam traveling supporters to celebrate a well-earned point. Feyenoord's first goal was scored by Anis Hadj Moussa after Josko Gvardiol made a mistake, and in the 82nd minute, replacement Santiago Gimenez scored to make it 3-2.

David Hancko's goal during the 89th minute had Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola clutching his head as the visitors accomplished a memorable comeback. Even though they ended a five-game losing streak, City has now lost six straight games in all competitions.

With eight points from this humiliating draw, City dropped to 15th position in the UEFA Champions League standings. With seven points, Feyenoord moves up to 20th position and will undoubtedly gain much-needed momentum as they attempt to attack for a spot in the top half of the standings.

Manchester City go to Anfield despite being winless in 6 games

At the Etihad, the Feyenoord supporters have gotten more than they paid for as their team rallies to overcome a three-goal deficit within just 14 minutes. When the final whistle blows, Pep Guardiola and the team are completely stunned. Now that City has gone six games without a victory, what was once surprising is beginning to become the norm.

Because of their excellent start to the campaign prior to this unanticipated dip, Manchester City is now ranked second in the standings for the Premier League. Later in the week, when Guardiola's team visits Anfield to play Liverpool in what seems to be a pivotal match in the championship chase, the task gets more intense. A win is needed for Pep Guardiola in their upcoming game but another loss can intensify the firing rumours even further.
