Roxanne Perez defends her title against Jordynne Grace, thanks to indirect assistance from Tatum Paxley and Elegance in NXT Battleground

Roxanne Perez managed to defend her title successfully in the NXT Battleground. With a bit of indirect help from Paxley and Elegance, Roxanne beat Jordynne Grace in a good match. As soon as the match started, the crowd chanted "This is Awesome". Roxanne used some foul tricks early in the match. She first slapped Jordynne and took a cheap shot by poking her opponent's eyes. 

The duo countered each other's moves. It was a battle of brute strength against speed and agility. Perez dominated the first few minutes of the match with her impressive performance. The crowd chanted "NXT" as they enjoyed the match. Jordynne was fired up as she kicked out at one. She countered the submission of the NXT Women's Champion with her brute strength.

The crowd chanted "Let's go Jordynne" and "Let's go Roxanne" as they hoped for a good match. Grace climbed up the ring and delivered a series of blows to Perez's back neck. She delivered a DDT from the top of the apron as the crowd chanted "Holy Shit" and "USA". The TNA Women's Knockout Champion returned to the match with an impressive performance.

Grace delivered a spine burster but Perez kicked out at two. The NXT star reversed the DDT and countered with her lock. The power of Jordynne Grace was on display yet again as she lifted Perez with ease and delivered a back breaker. It was a near fall and Perez survived. The NXT Women's Champion returned with a  spring burster. Perez went for her lock and Grace countered with a pinfall, only to be kicked out.

Tatum Paxley entered the arena out of nowhere and got hold of the TNA Women's Knockout Championship. Grace went down the ring and took out Paxley. She aimed to finish the match. But Perez took the advantage of the situation. She shocked Grace with her Prodigy and pinned her to claim the win. The TNA star was angry with the interference from Tatum and Elegance.
