The biggest news of this year's Formula 1 season is Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari next year after serving more than 10 years at the Silverstone-based team. But everyone was not happy with the 7-time champion's sudden move to Italy. Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz had to give his seat to Lewis Hamilton though he's performing well for the team. Ferrari sealed the deal with Hamilton by signing him and he will be teaming up with Charles Leclerc from next year.

Carlos Sainz became the victim of the game and he will now move to Williams a mid-field team. Ferrari is looking to end their Championship drought by signing Hamilton for the 2025 season. After 8 months of Ferrari signing Hamilton, Carlos Sainz got a driver's seat at the Williams team.

'Hamilton has given stress to my son'

These eight months were the hardest and most stressful months of Carlos Sainz Jr.'s life because of Lewis Hamilton’s sudden move. Talking about his son’s 2024 season Carlos Sr said “I am a rally and rally raid man and I am not an F1 man. I collaborate and help my son as much as I can, like any father. But yes, it has been a very stressful year in the sense that there have been big doubts, the surprise at the beginning of the year has been stressful and hard, especially for my son, who is the protagonist.”

In the past 12 months though he lost the seat in Ferrari Carlos Sainz won in Singapore, Australia giving a significant blow to Red Bull. He says instead of being in the midst of this driver seat deal he will prefer to jump in a rally car. The senior Sainz says “Watching him, without a doubt. When I’m driving I don't suffer at all! I have fun. When you don't have control of the situation and you're just watching from the outside, you suffer more.”

Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari has brought many new financial investments to the Maranello-based team and we hope they develop a powerful car that suits the 7-time champion well. Lewis will also be hoping to win his eighth title wearing a red suit in a red car beating Michael Schumacher's title record.
