The 2024 Formula 1 World Champion is on cloud nine after the Las Vegas Grand prix. He clinched his fourth world title which he won in the desert city and is now heading straight to the Middle East for the final two races of the season. Despite all of it, he will be denied 13 million euros by the Red Bull group. The Dutchman will face a year-end bonus crisis if his team leaves the constructors title to McLaren and Ferrari. So instead of a 13 million Euro bonus like last year, Max verstappen will receive a small amount of money as a bonus this year.
Reason for the Pay cut
Last year the Dutchman won 19 races but this year he only managed to win 8 races. The reason was the sudden rise of McLaren and Ferrari teams who started to compete with Red Bull after the first half was over. Verstappen will be paid 4.1 million euros for winning the title as a reward. An additional 10 million euros for his 8 race wins. So calculating all these he will receive 13 million Euros less than last year in terms of bonus.

Not only Max verstappen, but the Red Bull employees will also have their bonuses slashed by the management if the Austrian team end in third place in the constructor's title which is most likely to happen as McLaren and Ferrari are going strong. Sergio Perez would be the main culprit for the constructor's title loss as he is the underperformer this year for Red Bull when compared to Max Verstappen.
But Verstappen was very determined to win his fifth world title with Red Bull which he told immediately after winning his fourth title in the Las Vegas Grand prix. Many Formula 1 fans and Pundits already compare Max verstappen with the likes of Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton. But we don't know how many years will Max Verstappen stay in Formula 1. He is hinting very often that he won't be staying too long in F1 like Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso.
