WATCH: Adele singing the National Anthem of Formula 1 fans in Las Vegas GP post-race

Formula 1 fans finally found their singer coming to the Las Vegas Grand Prix last weekend. Adele even sang the song for the fans and talked about her experience.

Adele is one of the world's most popular singers and many of her works are celebrated by fans all around the world. She is very close to Formula 1 as one of her best works for which she got an Oscar has become unofficial national anthem for Formula 1 fans. ‘Skyfall’ was the James Bond movie released celebrating the 50th anniversary of the James Bond series since the first movie Dr. No which was released in 1962. 

The 50th anniversary was so special that they asked Adele to write and sing the official song for the movie. She wrote the song ‘Skyfall’ and sang it by herself, which she didn't expect to become a blockbuster hit. It won a total of 10 awards for the song and the lyrics and Adele also became world famous because of James Bond.

But, let's see what is the relation between Formula 1 and Skyfall? There is one big relation and thanks to social media. The United States Grand prix in 2022 made it happen when Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc drove his ferrari around the COTA circuit during the sunset of the Practice session.

The Ferrari car glowed in the sun and content creators saw this as an opportunity to show their creativity. They took out the video and edited it as a reel with the 'Skyfall' song as the background and it became an internet sensation. It also Promoted Formula 1 among many new fans and brought more interest to the sport.

F1 National Anthem

All credit to Adele and the content creators as they are the two big reasons for making Formula 1 reach across continents to many new fans with just a reel. But right now Adele herself got an opportunity to visit Formula 1 for the first time in her life to experience the Pinnacle of Motorsport live in Las Vegas Grand prix.

She took many photos walking around the garage and was very happy to be there in Vegas. She said the Formula 1 team garage was like NASA with many technical details. After watching Las Vegas GP she went to a concert in Vegas and sang the ‘Skyfall’ Song to the fans which was considered the unofficial National Anthem of F1.

Adele even spoke about her experience in Vegas. She said “I had the time of my life, I’m now a Formula 1 fan, I found my hobby! I’ve been nervous about going on a break after tomorrow night: ‘I’m gonna day drink? I need a real hobby.” Formula 1 needs more people like Adele to help the sport reach every corner of the world. But for now, we will see the Formula 1 race happening in the Asian country of Qatar, which will be a Middle Eastern derby that will head next to Abu Dhabi, the season finale.
