Fans claimed that Randy Orton could be cooking something about the world title. For the last few months, the Viper has been teasing a potential heel turn against Cody. One such segment happened on the latest episode of Smackdown where Randy was holding the title all around when he was addressing the fight between KO and Rhodes on the blue brand.
The latest episode of Smackdown was chaotic as far as Cody, KO, and Randy are concerned. Despite being suggested to not show up, Owens entered the arena and made a huge claim that it was Cody who attacked him and not the other way around at Bad Blood. It confused many who saw the footage at Bad Blood.

Randy tried to stop a potential brawl between Kevin and Cody Rhodes. The star wrestler intervened before Cody could attack Owens. He sent Cody back to the locker room and tried to stop KO from yelling at Cody. While he was successful in doing the former, he couldn't do the latter.

In an attempt to calm KO down, he sustained a blow from the former world champion. An irked Randy delivered a punch to Kevin which calmed him down, momentarily. Backstage on the blue brand, Randy tried to convince Rhodes to focus on his title match aaginst Gunther instead of his fight against KO.
In the segment, the fans recognized a thing which they pointed to be a hint from Randy on his potential turn against Rhodes. The Apex Predator was holding the title all the time when he was addressing Cody. Fans claimed that the heel turn was definitely on the cards.
However, what transpired later was something that shocked the fans. KO thought Randy Orton was picking Rhodes' side and attacked him. The star wrestler brought an unnecessary fight upon himself and blamed Randy for the same. There could be a feud between Randy and KO before the former could turn against Cody in order to claim the world title.
