Tennis legend Novak Djokovic's son, Stefan Djokovic, has stolen the limelight at the ongoing Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament. Despite the 24-time Grand Slam winner's surprising exit from the marquee event, his son Stefan was seen in the stands during the semi-final match between Carlos Alcaraz and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina on April 12.

Notably, Stefan is the older son of Djokovic's two children, who was born in 2014, the same year the Serbian ace and his school friend Jelena tied the knot. Later, they welcomed a baby girl as well.

Novak Djokovic's disappointing Monte Carlo run!

Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic suffered a first-round exit from the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament after losing against Alejandro Tabilo. The star player was crashed out by 3-6, 4-6. However, Djokovic's stellar run was seen in the Miami Open 2025, where he made it to the final showdown but lost to Jakub Mensik in the summit clash. Despite this, the 37-year-old legend aims to seek his 100th ATP title.

On the other hand, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Fokina with a scoreline of 7-6(2), 6-4. The Spain-born star won the ABN Rotterdam Open earlier this year and now seeks Monaco glory here.

Carlos Alcaraz reflected on his semi-final win!

Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz will be looking to win the ongoing Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament. The Spain-born star will face Italian star Lorenzo Musetti and aims to win the first-ever 1000 title of this current edition.

“It’s been a long time. I just had to be patient and believe that this moment was going to come again. Sometimes the people are not patient; they want me to make the final in every tournament. I’m really happy to give them the chance to watch one of my finals again. I tried to take the chances he gave me in the match. He saved a lot of break points and match points, but I’m really happy to [have] thought about myself,” said Alcaraz of his 13-month absence in Masters 1000 finals.
