Tennis legend Novak Djokovic breaks silence on his opening round loss in the ongoing Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament. Star player Alejandro Tabilo has defeated the 37-year-old legend with a scoreline of 6-3, 6-4 in the second round of the prestigious event, and stormed into the third round.

The Chilean star player had a great start to the game as he smacked breathtaking shots to baffle the Serbian ace in the opening set to take a lead in the game. The 27-year-old tennis star continued his dominant form in the second set, controlled his pace, and won many break points to thwart the legendary player from the marquee event.

Novak Djokovic was last seen in action in the Miami Open 2025. The 24-time Grand Slam winner had a remarkable run in Florida as he stormed into the final showdown. However, he suffered defeat against young prodigy Jakub Mensik in the summit clash. Despite losing the final showdown, the fans were ecstatic after witnessing him getting back to his old form after a first-round exit from the Qatar Open and Indian Wells after ending his run as a semi-finalist in the Australian Open 2025.
