A day after the reveal of the global release timings, a new 20-minute gameplay for Assassin's Creed Shadows surfaced, this time officially by Ubisoft. The video showcased gameplay for both Naoe and Yasuke while talking about their strengths and weaknesses across different gameplay styles. Players also got their first impressions of raiding a stronghold in the game.

Till now, all players got was a showcase of some individual skills and clips of open-world gameplay, so a complete walkthrough is welcome. First, we saw the stealth path with Naoe and Yasuke, followed by a direct approach of a wrecking ball. As the devs previously noted, the gameplay changes greatly depending on the character.

New Assassin's Creed Shadows looks good
Naoe and Yasuke differ a lot when it comes to gameplay, as seen in the video and while it's possible to choose any route, players will simply increase the difficulty for themselves. Having companions to assist during the raid, clothing options customized drip, which can also give some buffs, and weapon choices look interesting.
Speaking of weapons, there’s also decapitation with finishers in the game, which many players will love. Similar to the Nijo Palace, there are many more areas to explore and a lot of different activities which will give players some useful upgrades.
The general performance looks very decent. The two delays seem to be well used by the development team. Sure, there will always be some nitpicks, but unless the game is riddled with bugs and glitches, most people will enjoy the new Assassin's Creed game.
Hopefully, the game will be as stable as this section, along with a variety of other things to do outside of this section. For now, the PS5 gameplay looks solid, and many people also agreed the same in the comments, which might be good news for Ubisoft in a while.
