Ubisoft has revealed the timings for their global release for Assassin's Creed Shadows and standing firm on its promise, there is no further delay. To back that up, preload for the game is already made available for the Xbox Series X/S. In just a few weeks, gamers will find out how much effort Ubisoft has put in their ambitious game.

Preload for PC will begin on March 17, 4:00 PM UTC or 9:30 PM IST. PS5 users will have to wait a bit longer till March 18, 12 AM local time. The download size for the Xbox console is 107 GB, similar to what PC gamers need. PS5 can also expect a similar size so players may have to make some space before preloading is available.

Assassin's Creed Shadows release timing is complicated

While preload dates are straightforward, the release timings for the game are quite complicated. The game will be available at different times depending on the platform and the location. Consoles, Ubisoft Connect (PC), and Steam, all have different timings when it comes to Assassin's Creed Shadows release in Europe and Asia.

On the other hand, PC releases across both Ubisoft Connect (PC) and Steam are the same in the US region. This does leave many people a bit confused so it’s better to have a look at and try to find out the release time players can expect in their region.

AC Shadows gameplay length may give players value for money

The total gameplay time for Assassin's Creed Shadows is reported to be somewhere around 80 hours. That’s a lot of hours to grind through, but many people enjoy exploring and completing everything in the game. There have been complaints about boring side questing in past Assassin's Creed games to bloat game time, which hopefully will not be the case this time.
