Ubisoft’s long-running video game franchise, Assassin’s Creed, has seen many changes over the years. Some were received positively, while others were a mixed bag. The upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows is set to give players an option between the classic stealth gameplay or going loud and as per the creative director of the game, Jonathan Dumont, Naoe is the fastest assassin.

Being able to move quickly, including faster sprint and parkour, is her speciality, as revealed by Dumont during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Not only she is fast in the game, but she is also regarded as the fastest assassin Ubisoft has ever made in their franchise.

“Naoe’s the fastest Assassin we ever made. She runs super fast, she has a lot of gadgets to keep her stealthy so that she doesn't have to fight often. We wanted to satisfy that for players that come in for that ninja-assassin game,” Dumont said.

This is due to her stature, which is visibly much different from the other protagonist, Yasuke, who is built as a tank. Her speed allows her to quickly execute a stealth mission. Another reason to add more agility for her is to not have players bored with slow stealth missions.

Gamers will also be able to do Naruto run

Dumont further revealed that players will also be able to execute the iconic Naruto run with Naoe. While not practical, it is the signature run for all ninjas and serves as a great addition for fans. He also went into a few more details regarding her story, revealing that while she is trained as a Shinobi, her background is a mystery to herself, which the players will have to find out by themselves.

Recently, Ubisoft revealed a new combat gameplay trailer in a while for Assassin's Creed Shadows, showcasing improved battles and the introduction of weapons and abilities of each character. The company promises that the gameplay for each character will be very different.
