The well-known action-adventure game Stellar Blade from ShiftUp is no longer available for purchase on Steam in more than 100 countries, so players are searching for other methods to get their hands on the much-anticipated PC edition.  Fast-paced action and role-playing game components are featured in this semi-open sci-fi game, which was first launched as a PlayStation 5 exclusive. Stellar Blade has become well-known because of its extravagant style, incredible monster fights, and customizable features.

On June 11, the PC edition of Stellar Blade will be released, bringing with it improvements like upgraded textures, unlocked framerates, more extensive display support, and compatibility with AI-enhanced DLSS 4 and FSR 3 technologies.  However, there are additional difficulties because this is the first time Stellar Blade will be accessible on non-Sony platforms. Regarding the game's PC release, the developer was questioned on social media about why the game wasn't available in some areas.

In response to social media players' concerns, ShiftUp recognized the problem and requested the users' whereabouts.  Although the initial poster did not specify where they were, a different user responded by providing a list of over 130 nations where the game is not accessible on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The queries have, regrettably, not yet received a formal explanation or settlement.  The developer's seeming astonishment has only made matters more confusing, raising the possibility that ShiftUp did not fully expect the block.  It appears that blocking nations like Vietnam, Cuba, Estonia, and others is relatively in line with PSN availability.

Sony to delay PC release of Stellar Blade

Although there is no such official update, this implies that Sony could be to blame for the delayed PC release of Stellar Blade. Previously, the requirement for a PSN account limited access to titles like Horizon Zero Dawn. Many players found this to be more troublesome because they had to either create an account for a game that didn't even have multiplayer or struggle to play an online game because of PSN region restrictions.

The Helldivers 2 scandal, which finally caused Sony to reverse the PSN connecting requirement, was arguably the most prominent of them all. Since then, Sony has abandoned the practice, as seen by the removal of the PSN requirement for PC versions of titles like Lost Soul Aside. Players are regrettably left with several unresolved doubts regarding the PC release of Stellar Blade. It remains to be seen whether Sony made a simple error or whether this specific title has a unique quality.
