One of the popular PS5 releases of 2024, Stellar Balde, was reportedly landing on PC this year and now we have an official release window. Revealed during the PlayStation State of Play, the game is set to launch sometime in June along with Nikke collab. The game now also has a Steam page and will feature PC-specific optimisations, including handhelds like the Steam Deck.

Along with the game, all the additional content will be available on launch. As Sony previously stated, single-player games now do not require a PSN account, which may further help the game reach even better sales on PC, although the company believes this will be the case regardless.

Shift Up believes Stellar Balde will sell even better on PC

During a recent Q&A after the earnings report, Shift Up was asked about the PC release of Stellar Balde and how they think it will perform. The company believes that the game will have even better sales compared to the PS5 release. As of now, the game has sold over 1 million copies on PS5, with Shift Up already thinking about a sequel.

“In the AAA game market, PC devices have a higher market share than consoles, so we expect the performance of the PC version to exceed that of the console version. We are particularly observing trends such as the significant expansion of the single-player action game market in the Asian gaming industry,” Shift Up responded.

What are the PC specs for Stellar Balde?

The Steam page for Stellar Balde currently states the game is further optimised for PC, but there are no details regarding specifications. Since there is no mention of visual upgrades and the game is expected to focus on better performance on handheld devices, we may be able to see some
