Rockstar Games has finally revealed the release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 after more than a decade of waiting. Next year in May, we might see the worldwide release of the eagerly awaited open-world game and GTA 5 sequel. The company's debut video, released in December 2023, hinted at significant improvements, such as a large area with a Vice City theme, the first female protagonist, improved visuals, and, of course, crazy gameplay that closely resembles real-life gaming.

On X, Rockstar Games expressed regret for the wait and revealed that GTA 6 will be released on May 26, 2026. GTA 6 will be launched in 2025, the game developer has previously stated. "We are very sorry that this is later than you expected," Rockstar said. "The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and your patience as we work to finish the game."
Although the firm has stated, "We look forward to sharing more information with you soon," there is currently no official news on the GTA 6 teaser 2. Lucia, the first female character in GTA 6, will be released. Nonetheless, similar to Grand Theft Auto 5, GTA 6 will have a multi-character plot with enhanced police pursuits, more lifelike characters, and better stealth techniques.
Additionally, the game may explore the digital dynamics more thoroughly, which would make planning missions, heists, and other activities more engaging. With enhanced visuals, larger functional regions, and better gameplay, the GTA 6 map, which is based on the state of Leonida, will revive the vibe of Vice City. The premium edition with mods may cost Rs 7,299, and the ordinary edition of Grand Theft Auto 6 may start at about Rs 5,999 in India. The cost of GTA 6 in the USA will be around $100.
However, there is no official announcement regarding the pre-orders of the game. Fans are eagerly waiting for the sale to start and to play the most-awaited game.
