To identify any issues, Microsoft has invited players with Minecraft on PS4. This preview went live on June 20 and extended the invitation is extended to anyone with the game on their PS4 console. Players who want to provide feedback can join the official Minecraft Discord or use the dedicated feedback feature.

How to access Minecraft Preview on PS5?

The process is quite simple, all you need to do is head towards the setting inside the game and select the “Preview” option. This will enable a preview for you on PS5. In this preview, players will be able to try the Tricky Trials Update.

Players will also be getting multiplayer access in the Minecraft preview, but, they will be limited to other players on the Sony consoles. Those who want to play crossplay with other platforms will need to do it in Realms with a realm subscription, which will allow players to create a test realm separate from their other realms that will have access to complete crossplay.

Microsoft has also warned players that the preview is unstable and can cause crashes and corrupt saved world files. For this, they have advised players to create a backup of their Minecraft Worlds. They also notified us that this is only a preview and does will not represent the final build.
