Producer unhappy with Lewis Sometimes
The filmmakers are already taking many inputs from the Former world champion and it is also costing them more than they expected. Hamilton's crucial inputs are adding up to the actual budget of the film, which the producer recently jokingly complained about. The producer of the F1 film Jerry Bruckheimer said "Lewis Hamilton is our partner in this, and he saw part of the movie yesterday. And he gave us a critique of how the drivers do various things. Lewis could hear with his ear we were in the wrong gear."
"The level of specifics that he gave us -like in Silverstone, in turn 3, you're in the second gear, and he could hear with his ear that we were in the third gear. So it's that kind of thing he brings to the movie. Everything that he has brought to this movie, I can’t even express our thanks to him and all the folks from F1 who made this all possible.”
The producer also says sometimes they don't like what the 7-time champion says because it adds to the film's budget overall. He added “Sometimes we don’t like to hear some of the things he says, because it costs us more money to fix things! But we’re all in, we want to make it great, and he’s certainly helping us.”
Lewis even gave some inputs regarding how the drivers behave after the singapore GP which is very hot and the driver has to stay in the car for five more minutes before getting out as it causes exhaustion. Lewis Hamilton the producer wants to make the film as real as possible because the fans and the audience need to know what it takes to be a Formula 1 driver and how the drivers undergo struggles during racing.
