CoD Black Ops 6 Leaks: Major control changes, new combat tool, return of key characters and updates on Zombie mode

The stage is almost set for the Call of Duty (CoD) Black Ops 6. The latest news reports reveal that the rush of the Cold War is now moving ahead with a futuristic saga. Ahead of its public release, some Esports fans were allowed to play the multiplayer game at the head office of Treyarch during its presentation at the Xbox Showcase 2024.

Movement and Control of CoD Black Ops 6:

According to MeriStation the CoD Black Ops 6 will come up with a newly innovated control system called ‘Omnimovement’ in addition to Infinity Ward’s controls. This new control is based on the evolving movement of the franchise while maintaining the boot-on-ground abilities. It also outlays the feel and control of the game very smoothly and cleanly.

This Omnimovement also improved the sprinting abilities as now you can control the speed and direction of the character at the same time. One can now sprint backwards and sideways too. According to the leaked media reports to make it more realistic the company has developed some ‘never seen before’ animations. 

Missions: Did Frank Woods make a comeback?

According to MeriStation the Black Ops 6 has a diverse linkage with Black Ops 2. It has revealed that Characters like Frank Woods will make a return to continue the missions that are set against the backdrop of the 1991 Gulf Wars. Additionally, there will be some iconic open-world missions which will intensify the gameplay for sure. There are some Hollywood-based infiltration and assassination missions too. 

Combat Tools and Story Line: 

According to the reports for improved combat, the Treyarch has added some amazing tools to control and face newly introduced enemies. It’s worth noting that players can now control throwables after throwing them and also use enemies as human shields.

For gameplay, the storyline has been set on a very thrilling edge. It reportedly starts with some CIA agents finding out that someone has infiltrated their establishment and it triggers a series of incidents. It triggers a tug war between rouge and active agents making things intense.

Additionally, there will be Zombies in the game too. However, details of this are yet to be revealed. The Zombie mode is likely to be enabled in two unreleased maps which will hit the scene soon. Notably, all these insights have been taken from various media reports who got the opportunity to try out their hands on the unreleased game.
