The race started with Jorge Martin, and Marc Marquez in the front rows. Martin had a good start but the second pole-sitter Marc Marquez start was a total disaster as smoke emerged from his rear tyre at the start and he seemed to fall off his bike. Marquez was pushed back off the grid and within 1st lap, he came fifth which somehow came out of pure bravery. Jorge Martin, Marco Bezzecchi, and Reigning champion Bagnaia were running for the pole.

Marquez was the fastest on the grid, surpassed every other rider by picking the fastest laps, and came fourth. Bezzecchi's crash gave him the third spot, and a slight mistake by Bagnaia gifted him the second place.

Martin and Marquez show at the Phillip islands

After that, it's all Marquez and Martin's show, as both of them gave us one of the greatest races in recent times. The battle for first started in the 15th lap and continued until the end of the race, and both riders need to be appreciated for giving us the best race of this season. The first two places had over a 10-second gap to the backfield.

Marc Marquez won the race with an underpowered Ducati machine. The third place was taken by Reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia who needs to work hard in the remaining three races to go in this season. VR 46 teams Giannantonio finished fourth, Ducati’s Enea Bastianini finished fifth, Morbidelli at sixth, Brad Binder at seventh, Maverick Vinales at eighth, Fabio Quartararo at ninth, and Raul Fernandez at tenth.

The hometown hero Jack Miller tried hard to enter the top 10 but finished outside the top 10 place. The next five spots were taken by Zarco, Rins, Marini, and Alex Marquez. The last few spots are occupied by Espargaro, Fernandez, Nakagami, and Marco Bezzecchi. Joan Mir and L.Savadori crashed out of the race. Marquez will next year move to the factory Ducati team where he will have the best Ducati machine. We can also expect another championship win for Marquez next year. There are still three races remaining on the calendar this year.
