Adam Pearce, the general manager of WWE Raw, said this week that the red brand will be paying tribute to the New Day, a potential WWE Hall of Fame tag team. Later this month, the nine-time Tag Team Champions, which are made up of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods, will celebrate their tenth anniversary. WWE is preparing a lavish celebration for the tenth anniversary of Big E, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston's memorable in-ring debut on November 28, 2014. On November 25, 2014, the trio made their SmackDown debut against Titus O'Neil, Heath Slater, and Curtis Axel.
"Well, I wanted to talk to both of you, but anyway, you're here," said Pierce to a lonesome Kofi Kingston on Raw. "This year counts 10 years as New Day. It's time to celebrate, man. You guys are one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history. Because of that, if it's cool with you guys, I wanted to dedicate a special episode of Raw to celebrating you," Pierce added.
Even though the specific plans are yet unknown, Big E's reunion with his stablemates wouldn't be shocking because the New Day is one of WWE's contemporary success stories. In addition to their success as a trio, they have won numerous individual titles, which only strengthens their unquestionable standing.
New Day has achieved fame in WWE
Since 2022, Big E has been unable to play due to a regrettable neck injury that effectively forced him to retire. He's not holding out for a comeback to the ring, despite the newfound hope that it may happen. It is actually evident, that he has been applying for non-wrestling employment, including a number of Hollywood productions. Although Kingston and Xavier Woods have held strong since his departure and even won the NXT Tag Team Championships the previous year, there has been some hesitancy among the surviving members in 2024. Fans have been wondering if trouble is in paradise because of the noticeable tension that has been present over the past few months.
