WATCH: Tensions between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston rise on WWE Raw

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods had a heated exchange on WWE Raw after losing their match to Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The duo had a shot at the tag team titles but a series of event sled to them losing the match despite delivering a banger. Xavier Woods was unhappy with the interruption of LWO and blasted on Kofi for deploying the same backstage on Raw.

The match between the New Day and the Judgement Day was fire. All the wrestlers put on a show and proved they had it in them. Xavier was the star of the show who looked to claim the title he once held. It has been three years since Kofi and him held on to the tag titles.

The frustration was creeping inside Woods and it seemed like he badly wanted a win. However, things did not go as well as they would have liked as Carlito and Dirty Dom tried to interfere in the match. To even the odds, the LWO members came to the assistance of the New Day.

Xavier Woods unaware of Kofi Kingston's plans

Woods had no clue why they were in the arena. As the referee was dealing their brawl, Xavier had a good shot to claim a win via pinfall. But it could not happen. Eventually, the Judgement Day defend the title. Xavier blamed Kofi for the loss by poitning out that the referee was dealing with him.

He went backstage with a disappointed opinion. As Kofi was about to address Cathy Kelley, he saw Woods having an argument with the LWO. Kofi sent them away and thanked them for having their back. He then asked what the problem was with Xavier Woods.

As Xavier asked why they were in the arena against the Judgement Day, Kingston said he asked for their help. Xavier was unhappy with the fact that he did not know the plan. Kingston tried to convince him that they needed a help in Big E's absence but Xavier did not listen to him.
