Big E has given an update on his neck injury. The New Day Star claimed that his recovery is on a good process and is fine to do day-to-day activities. However, Big E added that he is far from medically clear to compete in the ring. It's been two years since the former world champion suffered a career threatening injury. At one stage, Big E was not sure of even doing daily activities well.

The New Day star said his C1 and C6 fell in two places and added that he is currently doing well. Big E said that he had no pain, weakness or discomfort. The star wrestler claimed that his C1 was healing well for doing daily activities well. However, the former world champion added that it wasn't turning to be a new bone and ossifying as on date.

"I broke my C1 in two places, my C6 as well. I feel great. I have no issues with pain, no issues with discomfort, weakness, [or] any of those things. My strength is great. The only issue is my C1 is healing fibrously, which is great for normal day-to-day life, but it's not turning into new bone and ossifying yet," said Big E on his injury. The fans expressed their happiness about the WWE star's way to recovery.

Big E not medically clear yet

The star wrestler added that he wouldn't get medically clear until his C1 heals fibrously. He felt there has been a wait time to ensure the improvement of the important bone. He further added that stem cells were studied a few months back. The commentator felt great about his condition and hoped to get better in the near future. But for now, the former Money in the Bank winner confirmed that he is not medically clear to wrestle.

"They're not going to clear me until that happens. It's obviously a very important bone. Right now, that is the waiting game. I did go to Cancun about a month ago for stem cells. We'll see if that changes anything. Right now, I feel great. I'm just not in a position to be cleared quite yet," added Big E in his statement.
