Adam Pearce made a big announcement on the latest episode of WWE Raw. The Raw GM claimed that a special celebration is set to be held in the upcoming week for the red brand to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of 'The New Day'. Fans claimed it to be the night where the New Day would implode.

The New Day is a faction consisting of Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E Langston. Formed in 2014, the faction has some of the top stars of the company. Their prime was till 2022 when at least one of their members held onto some sort of belt. Since then, there has been a decline in appeal to the individuals.

Big E's injury impacted the faction badly. Since then, Xavier and Kofi have nearly ceased to exist. To make them more relevant, the implosion might be necessary. In the last few months, there have been several teasers regarding the potential heel turn of Xavier Woods.

Will Big E show up to witness heartbreak on WWE Raw?

The addition of Odyssey Jones did not go well with Woods. A few weeks before it, the discussion regarding their implosion started. Every week since then has been a nightmare for the faction as Xavier has been unhappy with Kofi for one or the other reason. Their relationship has only deteriorated with time.

The differences between Kofi and Woods are at an all-time high. The celebration might involve Big E returning. A heel turn in front of the fans in a big celebration might have a huge impact leading to the fans booing Woods and cheering Kofi. The fans of the faction would definitely not be wishing to see their implosion.

Many feel that it might be the only way for the duo of Woods and Kofi to go forward. As Big E is unlikely to take part in a match ever, the time of the trio being together might be over. The celebration might be a way to recollect the good memories of the faction from its glory days.
