Top performers like CM Punk and Indiana Pacers' player Tyrese Haliburton, who was instrumental in bringing this week's event to a close, made the September 17 episode of WWE NXT unforgettable. After Ethan Page pushed Williams through a table at the beginning of the event, the contract signing between him and Trick Williams for their October 1 NXT title bout on the CW network was abandoned.

Towards the end of the program, Tyrese Haliburton stepped out and offered to get the contracts signed by both rivals for NXT GM Ava. Tyrese followed through on his promise to get Trick and Ethan to sign the contract. Later in the evening, CM Punk made a big announcement in the ring, but it was cut short by a heated altercation between Roxanne Perez and Giulia.

As NXT moves to the CW network, The Best in the World stated on stage alongside Tyrese Haliburton that he will serve as the Special Guest Referee for the NXT championship fight, which is set to take place in Chicago, Illinois on October 1. Following the conclusion of the program, Tyrese Haliburton and NXT SVP Shawn Michaels were seen briefly in a video released by WWE NXT on their X. When HBK inquired about his experience, he gave a nice response and thanked him for appearing on the show today.

Tyrese Haliburton has a long history in the WWE

It appears that fans may soon get to see Tyrese Haliburton return on the Black and Gold brand, since he is becoming a major presence on WWE NXT. Tyrese Haliburton has a long history in the WWE. The star of the Pacers faced guard Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks in person in June on an episode of "Friday Night SmackDown."

Alongside Logan Paul, who was competing at Madison Square Garden against LA Knight and Santos Escobar, Haliburton made his way to the ring. Following the bout, Haliburton and Paul slipped out of the ring after Haliburton and Brunson again clashed in close quarters.
