CM Punk's 'Go to Sleep' inspires Lionel Messi's latest and Stephen Curry's 'Night Night' celebrations

CM Punk's 'Go to Sleep' celebration has inspired some of the top athletes in the world like Lionel Messi and Stephen Curry. The NBA star's 'Night Night' is similar to Punk's GTS celebration. During Messi's MLS comeback, the star player celebrated his back-to-back strikes with celebrations similar to the likes of Curry and Punk. Curry pulled out his celebration against France at the Paris Olympics.

Right from his early days in WWE, Punk has deployed his GTS celebration. It is nothing but folding both hands and signaling as if asking the opponents to sleep signifying that they had control over the moment and the match. Curry's theme of 'Night Night' is not any different.

The NBA star's celebration indicates the opponents to sleep as well. He usually pulls out his celebration while scoring 3-pointers and registering other major feats. When he took on France in the final of the Paris Olympics, Stephen stunned the French crowd with the celebration. It did not go well with the home crowd.

The star player claimed to be tired because of the heat and humidity. He claimed to be happy for returning after a long time. "A little bit tired because of the heat and humidity of Miami but I wanted to return so much after such a long time away. I started training with the group and began to feel better," Messi said to the broadcasters.
