WWE fans in Germany will get to see WWE's next Premium Live Event, Bash in Berlin on August 31, which is expected to feature a headlining matchup between GUNTHER and Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. As 'The Viper' declared himself as GUNTHER's first challenger, he made sure to remember that The Ring General had first earned his opportunity at the championship by defeating Orton in the King of the Ring finals in May.
Despite being from Austria, GUNTHER will likely have a home-field advantage because he spent most of his career in Germany before signing with WWE. However, Orton devised a strategy to win over the German audience at the Bash in Berlin Kickoff event by admitting that he is more of a German than GUNTHER would ever be.
"Before I came on this trip, I went online to a website called Ancestory.com, and I did my genetic test. It turns out I am almost 70% German," Orton said. "It makes sense because my whole life, I have enjoyed a nice cold Heineken, I love Sauerkraut on my Bratwurst, I feel like I am truly home with my people. Tomorrow night, I am going to walk out of this arena a 15-time World Heavyweight Champion," according to Wrestling Inc Randy Orton said.

The Berlin faithful did, it should be added, boo Randy Orton once throughout his address when he referenced Heineken beer, mostly since Heineken is Dutch and not German. Even still, he had the impression that he was among his people, and he was certain that he could end GUNTHER's rule before it had a chance to truly begin.
Randy Orton extends his contract with WWE

According to Orton, his current contract has been extended by "five years," keeping him with WWE until August 2029.
