Roxanne Perez's era began at Stand & Deliver, and she has worked tirelessly since then to establish her title reign as one of the finest of all time. Perez will defend her title at No Mercy against one of NXT's rising stars, Jaida Parker, and while Perez believes Parker has a bright future, it is not yet her time. ComicBook had the opportunity to speak with Perez before her match at No Mercy, where we discussed Parker's potential as a Champion and Perez's mark on the all-time NXT history books, which she believes she has a place in. 

A WWE champion was smacked across the face during an interview tonight on WWE NXT. She fainted on the floor after being smacked. Roxanne Perez has been dubbed a prodigy because of her in-ring abilities at such a young age. Since joining WWE NXT, she has exceeded many people's expectations, winning the NXT Women's Championship quite swiftly.

However, after losing the championship, she adjusted her gimmick and appeared to embrace the evil side before regaining the title. Since then, Roxanne Perez has appeared invincible as she has swept through the tournament. Last week, a gauntlet match was held to identify a new number-one challenger for her championship, and Jaida Parker won it.

Sarah Schreiber spoke with Jaida Parker tonight on WWE NXT. She talked about switching from soccer to the ring of wrestling. But Roxanne interrupted her interview, telling Sarah to go out. Then, she revealed to Jaida that her narrative mirrored that of Lola Vice and every other person she had previously defeated. Subsequently, Jaida threatened to smack the NXT Women's Champion across the face, and she carried out her threat. Roxanne fell to the ground, stunned by the ferocity of the smack.

During a prior chat with Perez, she expressed a desire to become a dominating NXT Women's Champion before leaving the company, after her first title reign was cut short. When questioned if she feels she has completed that aim, Perez believes she has put in the effort to cement her Title reign in the NXT history books.
