Triple H's master touch in story telling ft. Ilja Dragunov, Bron Breakker, and Ricochet

The latest episode of Monday Night Raw featuring Ilja Dragunov, Ricochet, and Bron Breakker had a touch of class from Triple H. It was the perfect way of having all wrestlers in the story without degrading anyone. It was arguably the last episode of Ricochet in WWE before the expiry of his current contract. And the athletic wrestler probably got a fitting end.

Bron Breakker has a match scheduled with Ilja whom he had attacked in the last few weeks. The match itself was a banger and was one for ages. Both wrestlers delivered a great performance and carried the crowd that forgot that the two of them were delivering a classic. Until the last few minutes of the match, the crowd did not react. It was the only disappointing aspect of the match.

However, Triple H scripted it in a brilliant way. The match had enough screen time and both of them got to show their skills. They were up for the fight and never seemed to give up. Despite the injury, Ilja put on a show. He got to deliver his H bomb to Bron. Soon, the mighty wrestler backed off so that he could not get pinned. 

Ricochet's story erased from WWE

Later on, Breakker delivered the first spear of the night, a vicious one. Getting Dragunov pinned at that point would've out him down. Hence, Mad Dragon moved out of the ring and avoided a pinfall. It took a couple of more vicious spears for Bron to put away Ilja. That way, Hunter ensured that the Czar of NXT did not look weak.

At the end of the match, Ricochet attacked Breakker. It led to their eventual faceoff backstage. It is now sure that Ricochet will be leaving WWE. Hence, it needed a proper ending segment for him to be erased from the story of the company. It was apt for a menace like Bron to end Ricochet's story in WWE. The ending where Samantha Irvin wept over Ricochet was like an icing on the cake.
