The Undertaker has finally opened up about the moment when he inducted Muhammad Ali into the WWE Hall of Fame. Notably, the Undertaker inducted Ali into the Hall of Fame after the completion of WrestleMania weekend and talks about how much he was criticised by the fans for inducting him due to the late boxing legend's refusal. However, Muhammad Ali went on to call himself the main objector and open up about his religious beliefs as a Muslim.

Moreover, the undertaker finally went on to admit that he indirectly helped Ali and backed him in the decision. However, later he realised Ali's strong conviction in his beliefs and the sacrifice that made the great result. Meanwhile, The Undertaker also highlights and talks about Muhammad Ali's sacrifice, both as a good human being and as a boxer, despite going against his military decision.

However, fans were ecstatic to see him at WrestleMania 40, despite facing several backlashes for inducting Muhammad Ali.

I was so tickled to be there and be able to induct Muhammad Ali: The Undertaker

"I was so tickled to be there and be able to induct Muhammad Ali. I got a little heat from part of the veteran community. For people that don't know, Muhammad Ali refused to go into the Army. He didn't want to go to Vietnam...he ended up losing everything. To be honest, for a large part of my life, I resented Ali over that. But the thing is when you look at everything that Muhammad did. Not even the athletic end, not even the boxing side of it but the things he did as a humanitarian," Taker discussed this on the "Six Feet Under" podcast.

"I still don't agree with him not going. Your country asks you, you could do it. That's how I am. But when you think about the conviction that he must have had and such a strong belief in what he thought was right, he gave up everything," he added further.
