The Rock has special gift for Cody Rhodes before taking long break from WWE

The Rock had a special message for Cody Rhodes before leaving WWE. The final boss handed over an undisclosed object to the American Nightmare before taking a long break from WWE. Cody was in the ring for a thunderous welcome from the fans and Triple H after winning his maiden world title on night two of WrestleMania XL. WWE's CCO congratulated the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Triple H received chants of 'Thank you Hunter' as he welcomed the new world champion. Cody received chants of 'You deserve it'. Triple H then revealed special edit of song which depicted the journey of Cody on his way to the top of the world. As the two then thanked the crowd for making it happen, the Rock made his entry to the Monday Night Raw.

The great one congratulated Cody on winning the title and requested the American Nightmare for giving him an opportunity to wear the World Heavyweight Championship a moment. Cody agreed and gave it upon a condition of getting an opportunity to wear the people's championship belt. Both exchanged the belt and felt good about it. The Rock then made an announcement that did not go well with the fans.

The Rock vs Roman Reigns, a new era!

The 10-time champion claimed that he would not be in WWE for a few months. The crowd did not like it and asked the final boss to not go. The people's champ said that Cody did finish his story against Roman and claimed that his story with The Rock has just begun, reminding him of the fact that the night one ended with the Rock pinning Rhodes.

While Cody accepted the fact that The Rock is his final boss, he also let The Rock know of the fact that he's the world champion, people's champion, and the Rock's champion. The great one acknowledged the fact and handed over a special gift to Cody. While it was undisclosed, the American Nightmare seemed to be not too happy with the gift.
