Backlash 2024 will be the first major PPV event since WrestleMania XL. Some of the biggest titles in WWE are set to be defended in the event. It is set to take place on the 4th of March 2024 in France. After the ongoing draft, some matches might get added. But so far, five big matches are set to take place in France. Here is predicting the winners for these matches.

Cody Rhodes vs AJ Styles

Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Championship after beating Roman Reigns on the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania XL. Since then, he has been taking part in the episodes of Raw and Smackdown. In the latest episode of the Blue brand, he faced the latest drafted NXT Superstar, Carmelo Hayes, and emerged victorious after a good match.

Before the match, the American Nightmare signed the contract for defending his title in Backlash 2024 against AJ Styles. The phenomenal one won the match against LA Knight and became eligible to be the number one contender to face Cody in France. Given the fact that Cody ended the record breaking streak of Roman, he is likely to continue the momentum and defend his title in France.

Damian Priest vs Jey Uso

Damian Priest won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship by cashing in the Money in the Bank contract after Drew McIntyre beat Seth Rollins on Night 2 of WrestleMania XL. Drew got a chance to have his title back on Monday Night Raw. He took part in the number one contender match against Jey Uso, Bronson Reed, and Ricochet. Drew was about to win when something unexpected happened.

Just when the Scottish Warrior was about to deliver claymore, CM Punk pulled his legs off. A shocked McIntyre lost his concentration and composure to get super kicked by Uso. The former Bloodline member delivered him the Uso splash and pinned to claim the win. In the latest Monday Night Raw episode, Uso went one-on-one against Priest. Jey might provide a good fight, but Damian must be able to defend his title.

Bayley vs Naomi vs Tiffany Stratton

Bayley won the WWE Women's Championship by beating Iyo Sky in a brilliant match at WrestleMania XL. In the Smackdown episodes following it, Bayley offered Naomi a chance to have a go at the title. However, Tiffany Stratton interrupted the match on both instances. In the first instance, the match between Tiffany and Naomi happened instead and the latter won it.

On the second instance, Naomi main-evented Smackdown for the title against Bayley. The match got disqualified due to Tiffany's interruption. In the latest episode on the blue brand, Nia Jax interrupted Tiffany and Naomi's match and sent a message to Bayley. Smackdown confirmed the triple threat match between Bayley, Naomi, and Tiffany on Backlash for the world title. Bayley must be able to defend her title in a tough match.

Kabuki Warriors vs Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill

Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Jade Cargill have been going against the Damage Control in the last few weeks. Ahead of WrestleMania XL, Cargill joined the duo of Naomi and Bianca by saving them from Damage Control in a Smackdown episode. On WrestleMania XL, the trio of Bianca, Jade, and Naomi took on Kabuki Warriors and Dakota Kai. The trio emerged victorious on Night One of the biggest WrestleMania.

While Naomi is competing for the world title, the EST of WWE and Jade are challenging Kairi Sane and Asuka for the Undisputed Women's tag team Championship. The Kabuki Warriors were the only champions to not defend their title in WrestleMania XL. They have not been in action for some time now. Given the prowess of Belair and Cargill, the new pair must be able to beat Kabuki Warriors.

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga

In the last couple of weeks, Kevin Owens was taken out by the Bloodline due to undisclosed reasons. Tama Tonga, who debuted on Smackdown after WrestleMania, brutally attacked Owens the following episode, as per the orders of 'The Tribal Chief'. In the latest episode of the blue brand, Owens tried to repay the Bloodline. He attacked Solo and Tonga during a Backstage promo.

The trio came down to the ring during the WWE Draft 2024. As the security personnel tried to stop the brawl, Randy Orton came to the rescue of Owens. It led to the official announcement of a tag team match between Owens and Orton against the Bloodline duo. In Backlash 2024, Jacob Fatu might make his debut to assist Solo and the MFT of Bloodline. As the enforcer of the Bloodline has not won in a long time, he would be victorious with Tonga to make a statement.
