Is triple-threat match between Ilja Dragunov, Bron Breakker, and Sami Zayn on cards at SummerSlam?

The main event match between Sami Zayn and Ilja Dragunov had no end on Raw. The duo was up against each other for the Intercontinental Championship. But an interference from Breakker led to a disqualification. Bron speared Ilja and the match did not have a proper end. Sami was not happy with it and attacked Breakker. 

However, the mighty wrestler had the last laugh as he delivered a vicious spear to Sami Zayn. It is likely to lead to a triple-threat match between the trio at SummerSlam. The IC title will be on the line and it will be a no disqualification match. The match could turn out to be one of the best at SummerSlam given the calibre of the wrestlers on cards.

Bron Breakker competed for the IC title at the Money in the Bank 2024. While the former NXT star delivered a great show, he fell short and failed to win the title. On Raw after the MITB, Breakker accepted that he did not deserve a shot at the title after losing in Toronto. However, he speared Sami to send a message. Bron has his goals set for SummerSlam.

Sami Zayn impressed with Ilja Dragunov

On raw last week, as Sami was attacked by Breakker, Ilja Dragunov came to his assistance. The security guards and referees had to interfere to stop the brawl. Zayn was impressed by the way Ilja rose to the occasion. It led to their match for the title in the latest episode of Raw. When asked about the reason, the former Bloodline member gave a unique answer.

Sami said that Ilja got the title shot not because he saved him from Bron but because he deserved a shot at the title. Zayn claimed to be highly impressed with the Czar of WWE and respected the wrestler who continuously took blows and fought like a warrior every now and then. Sami asked Ilja to bring his best. The former NXT Champion asked the same before going face-to-face.
