Is Shane McMahon making historic move to AEW?

Is Shane McMahon moving to AEW? That's a big question to be answered. The question has arisen due to some of the reports claiming the possibility. In fact, a couple of Wrestling legends have been asked about the same. Jim Ross, the commentator of AEW, was asked about it. When Jim was in an interview, he was asked about a lot of things.

Additionally, The Undertaker spoke about the future of AEW and the role Tony Khan could play. The WWE Hall of Famer believed that Tony was not the right person to lead the creative head of the company. That has raised the debate about Shane potentially being the head of the creative team of AEW. The chances of a McMahon joining AEW is nearly nil, but can't be ruled out.

Especially after the exit of Vince McMahon, there could be a chance. However, McMahon has been the head of WWE over the last few decades. Choosing a different company at the cost of the existing ones might be a bad idea. However, when asked about the same, Jim felt good about it. He left the decision-making process to the duo of Tony and McMahon.

"Shane called me the other day, he’s called me two or three times, which I really appreciate. He’s always been sensitive in that respect. That’s only a question that Shane could answer. Shane and Tony Khan being together, how would that work creatively, heck, who knows? Might be great. But in any event, that all depends on Shane and what he wants to do," said Ross in the interview.

In the Attitude Era, Shane was a part of WWE as a character himself, along with Vince. The duo worked well as heels. Till 2009, Shane was with WWE before leaving the company to focus on other objectives. He returned to WWE in 2016 and was a part of the company till 2022. If Shane-O-Mac decides to move to AEW, it will be highly beneficial for them.
