NXT vs former AEW stars conclude main event of yellow brand

In the main event of NXT, two former AEW stars were up against the top stars of the roster. Ethan Page and Shawn Spears attacked Je'Von Evans and Trick Williams. There was a brawl from two ends as the tensions grew. Both sides fought against each other and there seemes to be no clear winners by it as the show went off air.

Next week on NXT, there might be a faceoff between the two sides. The main event match between Page and Evans turned out to be decent. Earlier in the night, there was a Battle Royal featuring 25 members to decide the number one contender for the NXT Championship. It witnessed the debut of Joe Hendry in WWE who lasted about 30 seconds before getting eliminated.

Ethan's elimination turned out to be controversial. After the match, a segment happened in which Ethan got a match with Je'Von in the main event. Despite the injury, the 20-year-old took part in two tough matches in the night. After putting on a brave fight, Evans could not claim a win. Ethan used Evans's injury to his advnatage and claimed a win.

Shawn Spears and Ethan Page attack Je'Von Evans, but Tricks Williams with the equaliser

The former AEW star will face Trick in the rematch for the NXT title in Toronto. Williams saw the match in the commentary box. As the match got over, Shawn Spears came out of nowhere and attacked Je'Von. Page joined the attack and it was a 2-on-1 advantage for the former AEW stars. But Williams soon came for the assitnace of Je'Von and took out Page and Shawn.

The duo of Shawn and Page returned the favor by atacking Williams. But Je'Von delivered a brilliant double cutter to end the night. Spears was with AEW from 2019 to 2023. Prior to it, he was a part of NXT and made a name for himself. Page was in AEW from 2021 to 2024. Recently, he signed a contract with WWE and became a part of NXT. Etahn lost to Trick at NXT Battleground.
