Summary
- Bully Ray questioned the way Goldberg got a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther
- Goldberg reminded Bully Ray of his unbeaten streak of 176-0 in the past and claimed there was no need to be in line to get a shot at the world title
- Gunther will face Goldberg on Saturday Night's Main Event in what would be the latter's retirement match
Goldberg reacted to Bully Ray's criticism of his booking against Gunther for the world title on Saturday Night's Main Event, which is his retirement match. The WWE Hall of Famer claimed he had an unbeaten streak of 176-0 at one point in his career, and there was no need for him to wait in line to earn a shot at something he wanted.
Goldberg claimed Ray could bite him, and he would not care, as every individual would have an opinion. While the star wrestler felt the former world tag team champion could have his opinion, just like everyone else, he claimed to care the least about it, thereby dismissing the criticism of his booking.

"The guy comes back and gets in Gunther’s face… the segment ends, and less than 10 minutes later we get a graphic and the match is official. Who made the match? Why did they make the match?" Ray had asked in his podcast, and felt the booking could have been better.
