Nic Nemeth and Matt Cardona replied to John Cena's name-dropping of them during his pipe bomb promo against CM Punk on WWE SmackDown. Nemeth posted a GIF on X and gave an indirect reply to Cena's promo. On the other hand, Cardona directly replied to Cena by tagging him on X and also posted his old image with the star wrestler on Instagram.
During the pipe bomb 2.0 promo, Cena took a dig at Punk and tried to recreate their old promo from 2011. One of the highlights of the past segment was Punk referring to Cena burying talents. The 17-time world champion tried to do the same, as he name-dropped Nemeth, Castagnoli, and Cardona, sent a 'Hi' message, and asked them how they were doing.
Soon, Cardona became active on X and Instagram and reacted to the incident. He was the most active of the lot, as he even commented on some of the social media posts of WWE's official handle. The TNA star took to Instagram and posted an old image he had with Cena in his days in WWE as Zack Ryder.
