Goldberg hints about his final wrestling match this summer

Bill Goldberg hasn't been seen wrestling in a ring by the WWE Universe in a few years. However, the superstar has finally hinted at the potential date of his retirement match. In a recent CarCast podcast episode (via Fightful), Goldberg disclosed that his health has improved as a result of the stem cell treatment he had.

Goldberg continued by talking about when his final encounter may be, and it's possible that Goldberg won't be competing again this summer. The contentious WWE personality said the following about his career's future.

"I feel like a trillion bucks. Whether it's from the stuff that altered my life before or the stem cell treatment after a day. I feel like a million bucks, comparatively. You have to be logical, but it's like you're a racehorse again, and you're being held in a stall, and you can't come out for some time. I have a match sometime this summer. I don't know exactly when it is, but I know it's coming up and I know at 58 years old I have to be in my underwear in front of everybody and I hold a very high standard of myself,” he said.

The 2022 Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia was Goldberg's most recent bout inside a WWE ring. Like so many Superstars who have attempted to defeat one of the most formidable champions the business has ever seen, Goldberg's goal in facing Roman Reigns was to end the Tribal Chief's protracted reign as Universal Champion. Brock Lesnar was the opponent of Reigns at WrestleMania 38. Even though Goldberg hasn't competed in the WWE since the encounter, he has sometimes made appearances on television.

Goldberg to appear at SummerSlam 2025

Goldberg and Gunther, the current World Heavyweight Champion, recently got into a heated argument. Longtime WWE fans are aware of a few events that may host Goldberg's farewell match; however, he could not confirm the exact date. The 41st WrestleMania is quickly approaching. However, following the year's most important event, the WWE will get hotter in the summer. The date of SummerSlam 2025 is set for August.
