Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz qualified for the final of Wimbledon and set a rematch of the Roland Garros 2025 final. While Sinner beat Novak Djokovic in straight sets by 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinals, Alcaraz overcame the tough challenge of Taylor Fritz by 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6(6). Between them, Sinner and Alcaraz have won all of the last six Grand Slam titles.

Sinner sailed through to the final, as he was against a Djokovic who finally seems to have caught up with age. At no point did the Serbian seem to be at his best, and Sinner was not threatened at all. In the end, it turned out to be a simple win for the Italian, who entered his first-ever Wimbledon final.

The match lasted for 4 sets, and Alcaraz had the last laugh in a tiebreaker to qualify for his third consecutive Wimbledon final.
