'We have a good relationship' - Emma Raducanu reacts to rumors on her dating Carlos Alcaraz

Following the rumors, The British recalled her younger days where she worked hard and used to play with Alcaraz growing up. She felt success would revert people back to the friends they know from younger days. The star player added that people known for a long time mean more to her.

"I'm glad the internet is having fun and we’re providing entertainment to everyone. It is nice and I think, for all of us, we really value those connections that we had from when we were young. Because when you become a bit more known or a bit more successful, you just find yourself reverting back to people you knew from a young age and because that’s a real genuine connection, because it becomes very busy and you have a lot more friends – but the ones that you’ve known for a long time mean a lot more to you," Emma Raducanu said to BBC.

She recalled at Alcaraz's early days in senior Tennis and claimed to remember a third round win against Stefanos Tsitsipas in a tournament which also featured her. Emma accepted that Carlos had overtook her but felt nice to have known each other for a long time.

"I remember he beat Stef [Tsitsipas] in the third round and it was like a big win, his breakout win on a big stage and it was really cool to kind of go through that tournament together. We have a good relationship still. He’s obviously overtaken me a lot, but it’s nice we have that from a while ago," Raducanu added.
