Tennis court named after Daniil Medvedev

Daniil Medvedev has just concluded a demanding ATP season, which featured numerous additional events along the way. His appearance at the 2024 ATP Finals suggested that he needed a well-earned break.

Now, Medvedev has returned to one of his favourite destinations and seems revitalized. Recently, the 28-year-old received a wonderful gift in Grasse, France, much to the delight of his fans.

Medvedev was honoured with a new court to his name

Lacoste, Medvedev's apparel and footwear sponsor, has collaborated with the National Sports Agency of France to create a unique cement court named after Daniil Medvedev

Reflecting his vibrant personality, the court features artistic designs inspired by video games, along with Medvedev's signature logo. To further enhance the theme, the baselines are marked with 'Player 1' and 'Player 2.' The court's hard surface showcases an appealing mix of bright blue and forest green, making it both visually striking and a fitting homage to Medvedev's identity.

Medvedev holds a deep affection for this country, which reciprocates that love. Throughout his career, he has dedicated substantial time training on the French Riviera and can speak French very fluently.

In 2019, Medvedev signed a contract with Lacoste, and he confidently extended it the following year, securing a deal that will last through 2025. This extension came on the heels of his impressive victory at the 2020 ATP 1000 Paris Masters.

Daniil Medvedev has emerged as a prominent figure for the French sports fashion brand's tennis division, featuring in various marketing campaigns and events. Most recently, he showcased his fashionable flair in Lacoste's campaign for the 2024 Rolex Paris Masters. Medvedev concluded the season ranked World No. 5, with an impressive record of 46 wins and 21 losses, despite not securing any singles titles this year.
