This will be the last season where the Rolex Paris Masters will be held inside Accor Arena as next year it will be held in the Paris La Defense Arena which can host more than 1,75,000 fans at a single time. This will be Europe’s largest-ever Tennis arena built and it will have state of art facilities inside the stadium.

The Paris Masters is the biggest ATP 1000 Masters event happening in the French capital every year. Previously, it was called as Paris Open. From next year the tournament will move to a new arena that is bigger than Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and Australian Open courts.

Biggest arena in the European continent

The French Tennis Federation’s plan is to expand Paris Masters and offer modern facilities for the players, spectators, media, and Partners. The center court can alone host 16,500 fans in a single match. It is the most spectacular tournament in the whole of the ATP series.  The Paris La Defense Arena will also have excellent transport links like RER, Metro and Trams. It will also be optimised for crowd management, a bigger reception hall, and giant screens for the fans to see live matches from a long distance.

Talking about the new arena Rolex Paris Masters director Cedric Pioline said, “Each edition of Rolex Paris Masters is eagerly awaited and appreciated by all tennis players and fans. Our ambition is to maintain our identity in the tournament, with a focus on innovation and modernity.  I’m convinced that the infrastructure of the ultra-modern Paris la Defense Arena will help us achieve our goal. This move should allow the tournament to reach a new level by offering players and spectators an even better experience. We also want to celebrate the legacy of the tournament and those who have helped build its identity and history.”

In the 2024 Rolex Paris Masters tournament Alexander Zverev was crowned the champion after a 74-minute rally against Ugo Humbert. The German defeated the Frenchman 6-2, 6-2 in straight sets and clinched the Paris title. Zverev silenced the 14000 French fans who came to support their home hero Humbert.
