It is the last day of round three in the Roland Garros and we have seen a lot of talented players in the mix already. It has been a great tournament so far and we all will be looking to the round 4 matches tomorrow which will feature some of the most popular players in the mix. The tournament has already given us some iconic matches and we will be looking forward to some more in the upcoming week as well.

There are still some great matches left in round three and this time we will be talking about the match between American number 1 Ben Shelton and Canadian number Felix Auger Aliassime. These two are the young talents who have impressed us with some great performances. Both of them have also played some great tennis in this tournament and this was no doubt set to be a great match between the two upcoming stars.

Shelton bows out

though Felix Auger Aliassime is known to be a great competitor, it was Shelton who has been a favourite for everyone this season as he has been making big strides in this season. However, it was the Canadian who was the man of the moment as he went on to dominate Shelton throughout the match. After getting an important break point in the first set and winning the first set 6-4, he put the young American under pressure. Felix continued the dominance as he went on to win the next two sets by big margins and made sure he got to round 4.

This was one of the rare disappointing performances we have seen by Shelton this season and we hope he can come back in the next few games. There is still a long way to go for Shelton and there is still a lot of tennis left as well and he has some time to come back in the upcoming tournaments. As for Felix he has again proven to be a great competitor and will be looking forward to playing against Carlos Alcaraz in round 4. This has now made the tournament quite interesting going into round 4.
