Top Tennis stars like Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, Iga Swiatek, and others will be a part of the US Open 2025 Mixed Doubles events on the virtue of the Wild Card entries. The top hard-court Grand Slam tournament has announced controversial changes for the Mixed Doubles event to attract top singles stars.
The event has given them the wildcard entries with an increase in prize money from $800,000 to $1 million. 14 teams are confirmed to take part in the event, and only one of them is an established mixed doubles team: Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori, who are the defending champions. The decision was protested by many seasoned mixed doubles stars.

The US Open 2025 organizers confirmed in February that the event will be overhauled, with the qualifying week set to take place two days before the official tournament, each set being played with four games and a tie breaker at 4-4 after every set, and a 10-point tie-breaker to decide the winner instead of the third set.
Top singles stars featuring in the US Open 2025 Mixed Doubles event
Following the announcement, many top singles stars registered their names for the Mixed Doubles event. Jannik Sinner will team up with Emma Navarro, while Casper Ruud and Iga Swiatek will play together. Likewise, Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu's teams could be the ones to watch out for.
Novak Djokovic has teamed up with Olga Danilovic, while Jake Draper will now team up with Jessica Pegula following the injury of Zheng Qinwen. Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe will play together, while Taylor Townsend has teamed up with Ben Shelton. Venus Williams will return with Reilly Opelka, while Katerina Siniakova and Sam Verbeek are likely to get a wild-card entry too.
