Veronika Kudermetova recently appeared on a podcast hosted by the former Tennis star Elena Vesnina, where she claimed to have got text messages from Holger Rune. The Russian narrated how her reply made Rune never reply to her. The WTA star revealed that she described her relationship status with the emerging star, which led to him never texting her again.

Kudermetova spoke with Vesnina and claimed that she informed Rune that she was probably a bit too old for him. The star player added that she asked Rune to see her Instagram profile to know she regularly posts images with her husband, thereby confirming she was not interested in any other relationship. She added that Rune stopped texting her after that message.

"Rune recently texted me. I told him, 'Boy, I'm probably too old for you. If you looked at my Instagram, you'd see I have a husband.' He replied, 'Oh, sorry.' After that, he stopped saying hi to me." said Kudermetova in the podcast with Elena Vesnina.

Veronika Kudermetova's relationship with her longtime coach Sergei Demekhine

In 2017, Kudermetova married her longtime coach Sergei Demekhine in a private ceremony. In 2012, when she was just 15 years old, her relationship began with her coach, who had a difference of 13 years in age. In the past, Kudermetova claimed that she had her reserveations about their age difference before starting their relationship.
