Jannik Sinner qualifies for semi finals; Medvedev and Fritz's hopes lie in upcoming clash

The Illie Nastase group fixtures in the ATP Finals are almost done with World number 1 Jannik Sinner qualifying to the semi finals. Medvedev and Taylor Fritz's hopes will lie in the last game where the Russian will be up against the Italian sensation in his next match which could ensure his qualification.

The ATP Finals 2024 is almost in its final stage and we still have some big matches to look into. The last match between Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur has made the group more interesting. Even though Fritz managed to edge out a victory against De Minaur, losing the first set to the Aussie can prove to be a big problem for the American number going forward as this could give Medvedev a chance.

Sinner ensures qualification while Medvedev and Fritz will keep their hopes in upcoming match

looking at the entire Illie Nastase group Jannik Sinner has ensured his qualification into theb semi finals of the ATP Finals 2024 as he remains unbeaten and is yet to lose a set in the tournament. The real competition will be between Taylor Fritz and Daniil Medvedev. Right now Fritz has finished with 2 wins and a loss against Sinner in the group currently placed at second place. However, we cannot leave Medvedev out of the game at all since the one set Fritz has lost to De Minaur has given the Russian number 1 a bit of chance.

Daniil Medvedev lost his first game to Fritz, but came back in the second game against De Minaur to keep his chances alive. However, Medvedev will be up against Sinner in the upcoming match and not only will he have to win the game but also makes sure he wins a lot of games as well. This is a really tall order for the 2021 US Open champion and he has nothing to lose. This will also be a chane for him to get ahead of sinner once again in the head-to-head rivalry.
