'I want everyone to call Andrey...'-Daniil Medvedev picks a funny nickname for Andrey Rublev

Daniil Medvedev and his compatriot Andrey Rublev engage in a fun conversation about each other in a 'Champions on Champions' interview during the ATP Finals in Turin. Medvedev also picks a funny nickname for his countryman calling him a ' Golden Monkey'.  It is a nice and hilarious segment between two Russian talents who are among the top-ranked players in the scene.

These two are currently the top two players from their nation in the ATP scene. They are adored by the fans for their spirit and aggressive game style. They achieved some remarkable feats in the game and will be backed in the ongoing tournament.

Medvedev picks a funny nickname for Rublev

It is always good to have a fellow compatriot in the year-end tournament and that is why the two featured in a fun segment of 'Champions on Champions' as they discuss stories about themselves. The fact that both of them turned pro on the same day also makes this interaction between them more iconic. The highlight of the entire segment was the nickname saying, "I heard a very good one in China 'Golden Monkey' and I absolutely loved it so I want everyone to call Andrey 'Golden Monkey'."

This was a great interaction between two Russian stars who have achieved a lot in the sport it is great to see the 2021 US Open champion and the Tokyo Olympics Gold medalist have some great banter between them and have a great time talking about each other's careers and great moments.
