'It’s something I’m going to wear more often...'- Carlos Alcaraz opens up on wearing a pink nasal strip during ATP Finals

4-time Grand Slam winner and World number 3 Carlos Alcaraz opens up on his pink nasal strip which he wore in his match against Andrey Rublev in the ATP Finals. The Spaniard says he is going to be wearing it more often and says he was a different person on that day.

There is no doubt that Carlos Alcaraz is currently one of the most dominant players in the ATP scene who has already achieved great things really early in his career but his run in the ATP finals this season did not start really well. Alcaraz still made a great comeback after a disappointing loss against Casper Ruud and got a staright victory over Andrey Rublev in the second match keeping his chances alive in the tournament.

Alcaraz opens up on the pink strip

The match against Ruud was not only a loss but Alcaraz had some health problems as well as he fell ill as soo as he arrived in Turin. The Spaniard came with a pink nasal strip in his match against Rublev and has even opened up on wearing it saying " Today I was a different person, The band-aid helped me to open up and breathe a little better. And above all, I was clear about what I had to play, and that if I lost, nothing would happen."

Alcaraz also futher added to the statement that he will regularaly wear it " It’s something I’m going to wear more often. I’m sure in the next match I’m going to wear it, and in training. I was able to recover better between rallies.” It seems like Carlos has found a solution to his problem and he is going to be another player after Nicolas Jarry to dawn the ban aid during his game and make sure he continues to win more games and get to the Semi Finals.
