Tennis star Coco Gauff has made it to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open 2025 as the American sensation knocked out Belinda Bencic by 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 in the fourth round of the first Grand Slam of the year at Rod Laver Arena of the Melbourne Park on January 19. The star player is now set to face Paula Badosa in the next round of the showpiece event.

Earlier, Coco Gauff defeated Leylah Fernandez in the third round of the2025 Australian Open by 6-4, 6-2, and successfully made it to the fourth round.
Her performance showcases that she is one of the strong contenders to win the title here and aims to topple Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek in the WTA's latest rankings. The USA star had a great start to the 2025 year as she, alongside Taylor Fritz, guided her nation to win the 2025 United Cup.
