The Tokyo Olympic Gold-Medalist will be up against Julian Weber, Anderson Peters, Julius Yego, Keshorn Walcott, Andrian Mardare, and Simon Wieland. Neeraj will face the tough challenge of Weber, who is in great form.
Chopra's Personal best of 90.23 meters is also his season best, but is lower than Weber's season and personal best throw of 91.06 meters. Apart from him, Anderson Peters is also a huge threat, who possesses a personal best throw of 93.07 meters. However, his season best has been a mere 85.64 meters.

Keshorn Walcott and Julius Yego have improved their performances in 2024-25, compared to 2021-23, with season-best throws of 86.30 and 84.51 meters, respectively. However, their personal best throws are 90.16 and 92.72 meters, respectively.

Apart from them, there are two emerging stars in the competition in Mardare and Wieland, who will be hoping to make a mark. The Moldovan athlete has a personal best throw of 86.66 meters, compared to a personal best throw of 79.44 meters of the Swiss athlete.
