Despite being a legend in professional wrestling, Taz was abruptly removed from AEW television. His son Hook got the chance to confront his father's assailant in the Dynamite episode that aired on October 23. Since making his AEW debut, Hook has honored his father. At Grand Slam, the guy regained the FTW Championship, his father's championship. In a heartwarming gesture, he then retired it back to his father. Hook was given another opportunity to defend his family's heritage in this week's Dynamite.
Christian Cage and his entourage were in the ring as Hook arrived. He went after them after declaring that the scoundrel who had attacked his father was part of the ring. To get him out, Hook snatched a Wayne's World from Nick Wayne. Hook was unable to obtain Christian Cage, despite his desire to do so. Rather, Cage executed Hook's Killswitch on that assured contract.
After Taz was injured in the parking lot, his son, HOOK, decided to take revenge on the attackers. On the October 23 program, HOOK entered the arena after claiming that Taz's assailants were present. HOOK took the battle to the Patriarchy, who were standing in the ring. But Kip Sabian delivered a low punch from behind to HOOK. Cage took control and used a Killswitch to strike HOOK into a suitcase.

What did Christian Cage mean by that?!

Christian also questioned Kip Sabian
Christian then referred to Hook by his given name, "Tyler." "This isn't what you think it is," Christian remarked. That was a rather sinister remark, and when Hook didn't get his way, he ended up in the ring. On AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage was identified as the attacker of Taz earlier this month. Security footage revealed it was Christian, and HOOK confronted Christian, Nick Wayne, and Kip Sabian inside the ring.
Christian also questioned Kip Sabian about his recent behavior, claiming to understand and know why Kip was acting in that way Taz was attacked in the parking lot before the October 2nd edition of AEW Dynamite, according to an angle that AEW broadcast. Taz's knee replacement surgery went well.
